Dr. Javaid achieved his Medicine of Doctor degree in 2009 from Ross University School of Medicine, in Dominica. In 2013, he completed residency training in the department of Internal Medicine at Queens Hospital Center, an affiliate of Mount Sinai Hospital, located in Queens, NY. Also in 2013, he obtained his board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Javaid is interested in preventive medicine education, primarily focusing on promoting goals to live a healthy lifestyle. He strongly believes in empowering individuals with the ability to self-educate with use of latest technology as well as to encourage them to make lifestyle choices that improve their physical and emotional well-being. He believes that this is the ultimate “medicine” that leads to a healthy life in conjunction with medical treatment.

In addition, Dr. Javaid is also passionate about financial planning and investments. He strongly believes in the concepts of value investing, which he has learned from studying financial gurus like Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger, Peter Lynch, Mohnish Pabrai, Guy Spier, Matthew Peterson and many more. He believes that the financial goals of all individuals should be to generate long term growth, which can be achieved by having money work for us and not us to work for money.
